FAFCU will be eliminating the Tiered Service Program effective December 1, 2010. The Tiered Service Program was developed to try to increase use of Credit Union products and services by our members. We have determined that the cost of the program has far outweighed the benefits to our members. With the elimination of the Tiered Service Program members will no longer receive the following:
Free overdraft transfers from share account or overdraft lines of credit to cover an overdraft
Free Money Orders or Cashier’s Checks
Free account histories, faxes or photo copies
Free ATM Transactions
Alternatives exist that can help you save time and money even with the elimination of this program, such as:
Use Home Banking through It’s Me 247 – just visit www.forestarea.com
Use Phone Banking – just call 1-866-267-4725
Open an Overdraft Line of Credit – see a loan officer the next time you visit
Get a Debit Card – replaces your paper checks, earn ‘Score Card’ Points
Sign up for E-Statements, E-Notices and E-Alerts– receive statements, notices and low accountbalance alerts at It’s Me 247
